Digital Cameras Best Buys reviews three great digital cameras

by Angela Sapiana on 2010/01/31

A Digital Cameras Best Buys review set. There are several digital camera companies that make small point and shoot cameras. Among them have risen Sony, Samsung and Toshiba. Here's our take on where these three digital camera companies sit with their current, best camera.

Samsung has raised the bar with its DIGIMAX S1000 "point-and-shoot" camera. With 10.1 megapixels, photos frames, highlights and color effects, it's one of the easiest and most fun digital cameras on the market. This camera is ideal for the shoot-on-the go person who's interested in high quality photos with little effort.

Where Samsung excels in mega pixels and photo editing features, Toshiba has taken off with increase memory and efficient use of SD cards. (Don't get the high performance SD cards though, I've not found them to work well in the Toshiba products). I would recommend the Toshiba cameras again to Facebook users - but not for the high quality face shots. It's more of a party camera.

Sony's DSC-T10 is a great digital camera for digital camera enthusiasts. if you like features like F-stop, outdoor, redeye and photo editing tools, the Sony models could be for you. While not as easy to use as the Toshiba models, and not 10.1 mega-pixel producer like the Samsung, the Sony is a great mid-tier camera. I'd advise it for anyone who loves to e-mail photos, post party photos to Facebook or print 4x6's for scrap books.
