This could present a problem, but can be corrected by an authorized Nikon repair person. Other than that, you will find that Nikon digital cameras are well worth the money and deliver quality images.
Many more of the "pros" tend to use the Canon, in comparison to the Kodak. Many agree that Canon cameras have a wider variety of options. For this price, I had bigger expectations from the DSC-W200 LCD. Unfortunately, it looks like Sony cheaped out here. 115,000 pixels for a 2.5 inch LCD is not great. It actually pretty grainy, and quite hard to view off angle, or in bright sunlight.

Do a bit more research before investing. You will find that Canon is probably the best camera, and is better than many Sony's you will find on the shelf in stores. If your still not sure, visit your local electronics store and try out a few first hand.
The SD870IS model is the one for you if you want a wider-angle lens. Except the lack of the viewfinder, making it rather impossible to use in a bright light, you will simply love all its facilities.
